What Does Delete Mean

 

In computer terminology, delete refers to the action of removing data or files from a storage system, such as a hard drive, solid-state drive, or cloud-based storage. When a file or piece of data is deleted, it may either be permanently removed from the system or temporarily moved to a location from which it can be recovered.

Types of Deletions
